| Californication by the Red Hot Chili Peppers |
|
Following an eight year spree of drugs, depression and self-identification, John was asked to rejoin the Chili Peppers. He jumped at the chance and straight away slipped back into his old groove, churning out song after song. Fifteen of these songs went on to Californication. The album is a lot more calm and subdued than the 1995 release, One Hot Minute but displays the band's subtle side excellently. |
