Smile From The Streets You Hold

John's second and latest album is basically comprised of material that wouldn't fit on the first. One track (A fall thru the ground) even dates back to when he was 17. As was expected - after the release of "Niandra" - the critics weren't exactly raving over his latest effort. Many of the songs sound as if he got high, and then sat down and recorded. Even so, there are some deeply touching melodies and the slurred mutters and screams definitely add something to record. Seventeen tracks of pure musical emotion.
